While the humanitarian aid efforts are under way after the horrific droughts and instabilities, Humanitarian African Relief Organization (HARO) and World Assembly Of Muslim Youth (WAMY) took coordinated action to feed the refugees in Kaluun Camp in Wadjir city in Banaadir Region.
More than 550 families have benefited from the relief aid by those two organizations. The aid consisted of 22 pounds of rice, 22 pounds of flour, 11 Pounds of Sugar and 2 litters of cooking oil. The aid was given by representatives from both organizations and they personally went to the families and handed them the food.
Some of the people that received the aid thanked HARO and WAMY and they emphasized the great need for this kind of aid. They also urged the heads of those organizations to keep special eye on the people who have fled because of droughts and conflicts.
Also some of the officials of HARO and WAMY gave speech there saying that they will take all the suggestions by the refugees and they will double their effort meanwhile.
HARO organization has being recently active in delivering humanitarian aid to Muqdisho city and many parts of Somalia. The organization has taken enormous initiative in delivering food to the refugees in south Somalia and most of the regions of Somalia.
