HARO Distributed Funds to Orphans

As the event of Eid Al-Fitr approached, the HARO teams worked tirelessly to get funds for orphans and poor children. The team at Garawe worked with Masjid Al-Huda to give the money that was donated throughout the month of Ramadan to the orphanages.

The distribution was managed by HARO workers and volunteers from the community, more than 200 children were given about 30 US Dollars cash each for them to buy new clothes and fun toys for the holiday occasion.

The representatives of the children sent gratitude to the donors who wanted to make these children happy. In conclusion, there are large number of orphan children living in Somalia but they don’t get the support and aid they need to survive after they lost their parents in the on going instability of Somalia.
