Recently, an important seminar has came to an end at the capital city of Somalia, Mogadishu. This seminar mainly focused on the great need for emergency relief in the region. This timely and intensive, two days seminar course was geared toward students from high schools and the organizer of the event was the head of HARO, Ali Abdinur.
During the intensive seminar, the students were taught how they can help the people when there is an emergency need because they live in area where every day, people need to be helped under crucial moments. The students need this because the country is going under harsh times during last twenty years. The students were taught by experienced doctors and physicians.
The seminar was concluded by the president of HARO (Humanitarian African Relief Organization), Ali Abdinur who said that the reason they held this seminar was that he saw the great need for people to help themselves as the country goes through a tremendous war and drought. He also added that these kind of seminars help the people if any emergency incident happens in the region.
Some of the students who talked at the seminar said that these types of educational courses help them help the people and that HARO should continue its effort to teach the young and students of they can help their people.
